February 22nd Mason in snow at grandparents

 Mason and grandpa dug out a little snow cave in one of the seven-foot piles of snow

along the driveway.

 With 3-4 feet of packed snow in the front

yard, Mason could go tree-climbing.

We finally changed the snow cave to a tunnel -

all the way through the snow pile into the front yard.

February 1st Mason's 4th Birthday Pary

 The four-year-old loved the helium balloons at his birthday party.

February 1st Madelyn Starts Solid Food This Week

 Madelyn's first solid food was peas. She had noticed

everyone else eating for sometime, so she was more

than ready to try it.

 Pretty good going down, but.....

She made faces once she actually tasted it.

 Goodness! This does taste different!

 But I still want more.

Christmas 2013 Trip to Crystal Mountain

Our Armstrong family, the Kraft cousins, and the grandparent Kendricks stayed in a Crystal

Mountain condo for four days at Christmas. 

Grandma Carol sewed ninja pajamas for the four boy cousins based on the Lego Ninjago characters that they really like.

We ate big breakfasts!

 Mason was the Red Ninja whose power is fire. Here he lights the fireplace (with a little secret help

from dad).

The whole outfit included a hood and nun chucks

Mason took ski lessons (above) and learned how to do a "pizza" or wedge. After help

from grandma, he could navigate the easiest hill.

 Madelyn was adorable on the trip and really enjoyed having the four boys around for

entertainment. Here she poses with Hudson.

 Caleb just loves her and was always checking on her.

December 18th Photo Shoot for Christmas Pictures

 Grandma Carol and mom set up a photo shoot for the Armstrong kids

for Christmas. Here is Madelyn in a new dress from Auntie Julie.
