Birthdays and Getting Ready for Christmas

What is this tree? It is prickly!
Look at all the ornaments and figures! I can hardly keep my hands off them.
 CHEESE with the tree.
The "Frozen" princess and the tree.
Mommy and Daddy had a birthday party for Sophie and
Grandma in early December. Sophie and Mike traveled
from Saginaw. Madelyn showed them one of her puzzles
and Sophie helped her put it together.
 Sophie loved Madelyn's dancing antics.
We even dance for the camera..........
Mason helped Grandma blow out her candles.
Sophie smiles while Mason blew out most of her candles.
SUGAR. We love grandma's sweet rolls!

Late November Travels

Madelyn and mom pose at home with a bright rainbow in the background.
Mason helped grandpa rake leaves in Muskegon.
Mason also helped grandpa nail up heavy plastic on
Daravia's mom's porch windows. He did good
with the 20 ounce hammer!

We made our annual pilgrimage to Uncle Randy's mower shop in Macomb Illinois at
Thanksgiving. Madelyn got to drive a mower tractor while Mason danced on the truck trailer.
Uncle Randy's showroom is full of mowers to drive!
Mason with Caleb and Hudson on a zero turn mower.
Uncle Randy holds his cat "Mower" for Madelyn
to pet.
The five cousins pretending to race mowers.
We also traveled to the Kendrick family farm at Melvin Illinois for another Thanksgiving
get together and got pictures taken of each individual family for Christmas cards.

Early November Antics

More animals at Post Family Farm. This kitty loved being petted. Madelyn was happy to comply.
The goats and sheep have the grass in their pen eaten down close, so they were right there
when Madelyn picked some better grass and offered it to them. They would gobble/lick/suck the grass in as fast as they could from her hand so other goats would not grab it.
Everyone eats lunch with their swim goggles. For
Madelyn, this is just accessorizing.
Pulling our self up on the bar above one of the big slides.
We are fearless on the equipment now.
Swinging on the big kids' swing.
Mason helps grandpa make wooden Christmas
snowflake ornaments in the woodshop. Here he is
dunking them in the sealer after they are sanded the
first time.
We had a fish fry for Daravia on her 20th birthday and Mason helped
her blow out her candles. She is trying to hold him back from blowing
out all of them himself.
New way to wake up the 2-year-old from her nap. Put the brother in her bed!

Halloween 2015

Madelyn was Sheriff Callie from Disney Junior.
Grandma made her a vest to go with it.
Saying goodbye to grandma.
We also had a Minnie Mouse costume.
Mason was a Ninja warrior, go figure.........

Aquatic Center October 2015

Grandma and Madelyn watch Mason at the Spring Lake
Aquatic Center Family Pool. Madelyn sees him.
 Mason swimming like a fish.
Tube slide is 3.5 stories tall and you must be 48 inches
tall to go down it. Mason was finally tall enough. He
spent the whole hour going up the stairs and down the slide.

Two-Year-Old Birthday Party September 25th

Grandma brings in two candles on a cupcake.
Madelyn likes the candle flames and grandma has
to keep her hands away from them.
Mason helps blow the candles out.
Oh, what is this? Brother knows......
Birthday girl pushed the business end up against her face
and sucked in the frosting. You can determine the exact
circumference of the cupcake by measuring her face......
 Chocolate cupcake faces..........
 Whee......chocolate is kicking in!
 Up to the nose now.
 Chocolate play dough.
 Pause for "CHEESE"
 Who made all this mess?
I think we are done here, mom.
 Chocolate kiss.
All over except the paperwork. Sister fetches the
TP for brother to put up in the cabinet.
