May 9th "T" is for Tractors, Tires, and other such stuff....

Mason went with Grandpa Dave to the Wastewater Farm where we found irrigation rig Tires.

Mason is standing on the 225 horsepower planter Tractor.

Mason's favorite thing about the corn planting was watching the corn planter fold and unfold

to be transported down the road (above and below).

This tractor can spray over 900 acres

in a day with a 120 foot boom traveling 18 MPH.

and can mow brush up to 3 inches in diameter

He does a good job of explaining the throw

This throw is our favorite.

He is throwing rocks but his form looks pretty good for a three year old.  He has been to practice once this year.  He picked up all the little technique things in that short period of time.  He now explains to the high school kids if they did a good job or what they need to do differently.  Nick has found his assistant coach.

May 2nd Golf at Fruitport Country Club

 Mason went golfing with Grandpa and helped Grandma drive

the golf cart, too.

 He did not miss the ball many times off the tee and hit it a

good 20 yards a few times.

He putts from about 12 inches and does not miss many here either.

Done with our first 9 holes of the year.  Mason wanted to play more.

April 29th IPod Games

 Grandma Carol, Grandpa Dave, and Daravia came over for supper

Monday to celebrate Natalie being done with classes until August.

Ray has loaded some apps for Mason like "Bob the Builder".

 He was pretty geeked on the truck matching and puzzles to put together.

There was also one where he rubbed his finger against the trucks

and it washes the dirt off of them.

Our goofy IPod eyes shows us his games.

April 22nd Back to the Park Finally

Finally good enough weather to go to the park in Allendale with our

"Outside (Grave) Digger" Monster Truck - Mason loves running it down the slides

 Mason just ran around the park and slides like a crazy man

 Driving his race car - grandpa has to add the bumps and motion

 Mason is a pro going down the biggest spiral slide

 Mason does not fit real well in the swings for the smaller kids anymore -

we also tried the single strap seats and he did fine at a slower speed

 Mason climbs a lot more than last year

 Mason is ready to race

Only saw one duck to feed bread and he was too far off to realize we had food - no blue gills yet must be too cold for them  - still it was a beautiful day

Something followed us home today.

It is a camper. 

It even expands

Two doors, full length canopy, not perfect but everything works. Most importantly it will be a lot of fun and comfy for our family. 

That bed is also a couch, Mason had to try it out.  However he did not stand still long enough to photograph him in the camper.
